Can you see a stylish hat in a pile of rubbish?! 

86 milliners and hat making artists from all over the world set themselves the challenge and have just done exactly that!

From Waste to Wow is a theme for the MIMC hat making competition held annually in Melbourne, Australia.

This fascinator is made from a dozen plastic bottles and this is my entry for the competition.

I chose plastic bottles because they are a well known major threat to environment. While there are already many different ways to recycle them too many are still ending up as pollution.

So, I thought why not come up with one more way to recycle them and turn this plastic bottle waste into something exciting like a hat?

I also really enjoyed the challenge of coming up with a creative idea that transformed plastic bottle waste into a blossoming crown of poppies.
